About Me


I have always enjoyed whipping up delectable feasts, and have been cooking and baking for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is of baking with my Grandmother and being allowed to lick the spoon.

However, during my time at University, I loved having free rein of the kitchen, and begun cooking up a real storm!  Along with my friends, we set about eating our way through our student loans. Enjoying everything from ridiculously large mid-week roasts, to delicious desserts. Alongside my culinary education I also gained an actual degree, in Geography which really spurred on an interest in the environment and our desperate need to consume sustainably. So, that has become a huge driving force behind what and how I cook, simple, tasty yet sustainable dishes.

So from now on i'm going to chronicle my gastronomic adventures, and non-gastronomic for that matter. Whether it's a recipe I've tried and loved or a great local producer I have found I am going to share them all, here, for everyone else to discover and enjoy.
